STUDIONINE is spearheaded by Architect
Mr. Sameer Salvi; whose educational and professional background spans across India
and USA.
Mr. Sameer completed his B. Arch. at Sir JJ College of Architecture, University
of Mumbai and his M. Arch. at University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles.
Mr. Sameer has previously worked in Mumbai, Los Angeles and New York City, with
award winning firms on international projects of various building types. Sameer
is a licensed Architect in India. Sameer specializes in design analysis of projects
at concept level, visualization of space during design development, meticulous detailing
during construction documentation and hands-on project management techniques that
ensure constant dialogue between design team and site execution teams.

STUDIONINE is essentially a design studio with an atmosphere that promotes exchange of architectural concepts, design ideas and aesthetic thoughts. We maintain extremely high documentation standards for all our projects to ensure each and every aspect of a project, including its shape and size, form and proportion, orientation and direction, choice of material colors and textures, integration of building services and technical aspects, expenditure on cap-ex and recurring maintenance are well established before a project rolls out on site.
We believe that, at its core, your project is a perception in the mind of your target
audience and end users of who you are and what you stand for. In our experience
the difference between ordinary projects and meritorious projects is that the latter
have the ability to create the desired architectural impact and spatial perception
among the desired highest value customers and users.

As architects, it is our professional responsibility to transform space into a meaningful
and valuable experience. True architecture, has the potential to rise beyond the
ordinary; ours is an honest pursuit of design in that direction. We believe in adding
value through imaginative space planning, integrated with right use of technology
and materials. We strive to make our works functionally and visually simple; their
simplicity is enhanced by our attention to details. At our studio on-going projects
are reviewed for choice of materials, services coordination and potential on-site
conflicts to ensure streamlined construction without loss of time and money.
Ours is an integrated design approach that includes comprehensive services coordination
and incorporates lighting design (both natural and artificial), landscape design,
furniture design, signage and graphics as integral elements of design, as appropriate.
Being creative professionals, we lay more emphasis on process and procedure than output and product.
In doing so, product becomes natural progression of process and no output is accidental.
As a firm we have had higher rate of success in competitions and tackled variety of diverse project types -
some of which were completely unknown previously.
Our design inquiry involves noting the client brief, questioning it, disintegrating it and putting it
together again with a fresh outlook. This ensures that we establish clear understanding between us and
our clients while addressing nuances that sometimes play an important role in the emergence of the concept.
Pertinent aspects of design, such as primary structural systems, basic services, lighting, orientation, demands of the building type,
context of site are all weighed in during the course of concept design which ensures that these are not tacked on at a later date.
Thus when the project proceeds into later stages of design development and construction documentation, it remains true to its concept and
all features and details are value additions to the original intent. Studying the proposed design through models is intrinsic to the design studies;
model studies also help us in making choices of materials, colors, textures.
Thus the entire design process is extremely streamlined, ensuring maintaining high standards of design and detailing while adhering strictly to
project deadlines from our end. When this process becomes second nature, and is followed project after project, it ensure that irrespective of
project type, size and budget, our success rate remains higher.
